This tree was in full bloom. It typically starts blooming in early January. Photo taken at the San Diego Zoo on February 2, 2025.

It really is beautiful! I’ve had one in a huge pot for years.
It didn’t bloom this year.

The old Niles nursery had one in the ground. I don't know if it is still there. White flowered.
That nursery i thought would have been turned into homes by now.

The white one is much hardier. This one from Madagascar is way more tropical.
I used to grow the pink one in Fremont, though.
