Depending on the cultivar, they are either shrubs or small trees. This one is a shrub .

It is a jungle here Wildrose. Plants are intermingled and sometimes it is confusing which leaf belongs to a plant I am taking a photo of. Thank you for visiting.

Here its sold as a shrub- or marketed as a shrub. I've been told though that they can be small tree's in mildest climates.
At the very least-- its one that can be grown in colder climates as a potted plant and will bloom at 2' tall-I've seen that. Not many Erythrina's will do that.
