forsythia (new shrub 12)

Might be Forsythia if it leafs up and grows like topsy it probably is!

Probably needs a good prune Fran to refresh the growth and get it more fully into bloom again. Might miss a year of flowering but could be worth it. Maybe cut back half way up after flowering over with.

I'm normally cautious about pruning - bit hard to put bits back if you cut too much! but I have to learn, and make mistakes while I'm learning. As I'm getting plant IDs, I'm looking online for "how to's", and also checking what they do, and when, and how much - building up a folder on my PC for "myi plant care"
