Species hellebore for moisture retentive soil, for sun (but sheltered from the hottest weather) or part shade. Unlikely to perform well in full shade

I've had it for several years - it's one of the species hellebores and originates in Greece. Height is around 40 cms (just under 18 inches in old money)

Thanks for the info. it will go on my 'would like to have' list. I work happily in old or new money Andrew. In school I had to use metric [SI units] but most of my sewing is in imperial so I switch between the 2 happily. I sometimes think in old money too!

I only work in new money, but also switch between metric and imperial with distances and weights. Ditto for temperatures.
My father used to build sailing dinghies. After metrication, the plywood boards he used were sold in 3mm, 5mm, and 7mm thicknesses, but they were still in 8 feet by four feet sheets!

Oh yes I know of that problem. Hubby has done some small boat building/repairs over the years.
Many fabrics are sold by the metre but can be 36", 44" 55" wide. There is even one that is 108" wide.

This is a new one on me. Have you had it long? How tall does it get for you? I like the subtle green colour.
