Lovely one SBG, I've been buying again, sold £100 worth of my daylilies on e-bay so had to buy a few more, its an investment, lol.

thats good trading. what did you buy then?

Oooo I had a great time SBG I bought 'Mata Hari', 'Real Wind', 'Siloam David Kirchoff' and a couple of more expensive ones 'Dick Kitchingman' lovely unusual form with 10inch flowers and 'Flamboyant Edges' a double with 7inch cream flowers and plum eye and edge, fragrant too, roll on next summer :-) so many beauties on ebay at the moment some really new varieties a couple with starting prices of £75 !!!! .
Sold a lot of divisions from my older varietes, everyone seems to want the newer ones, so put 5 for £10 and every time I put them on sold within a day, good for people who are just starting a collection as all really reliable varieties, also sold a couple of divisions from my newer ones.

Can't wait SBG, not my biggest though have one called 'Watchyl Dancing Spider' that flowered for the first time this year with 13inch flowers:-)
Certainly am have 122 varieties now, plus around 20 seed grown unamed ones.

They are lovely I decided to grow some Asiatic lillies this year but soon the foilage disapeared with the arrival of little red weevil type bugs....probably the lilly beetle, despite spraying with an array of chemicals I have given up in favour of these day lillies which dont seem to be bothered by bugs.

there is the gall midge problem on the early flowerers though. one of mine gets affected by it.
