Hi there, I'm not an expert at it, and I have been told that little plantlets can be seen growing off, I'm not that lucky...lol...I shake off gently the compost, so I can see what I'm dealing with, then decide whether it will go into 2 or more, I tend to go for less to be on the safe side...and just cut through, so each piece has good root...
similar to other plants yes...I'll pop a couple of young plant pics on, the excitement for me (silly old fossil) is when the new leaflets begin to show through the compost, then I know I did good...lol
