Hi Lucy

Thank you Moti and Clarice :-)
Simbad, I'm very pleased to learn that all of the castor oil seeds have germinated!!!!! I still have loads of seeds, and I can send you more if you like :-)

I only sowed half the seed Tommymoo, thought I'd save some for next year, just in case mine didn't set seed, always like to be prepared :-)), thankyou for the offer though :-)
Have a few interesting seedlings on the go this year,as well as the Castor Oil plants I'm also excited about the Campanula Thyrsoides that I've just been pricking out and have some good size plants of Phytolacca too, also some seedlings of Isoplexis Canariensis grown from seed sent by another lovely GOY member, exciting time :-))

It IS very exciting time of the year, I agree, although I'm rubbish on growing plants from seed. I wasted nearly all the seeds you'd sent me .. sorry Simbad.. :-( 2 years ago I left loads of seedlings at my mother-in-law and she over-watered them and everything died except one (probably bridal wreath; it's still at her place and it doesn't seem to be doing well). In addition, this spring, I sowed the remaining seeds from you and most of them sprouted. I left them at my friend in France while we are in England last month and she tipped everything over by accident. Oh dear, no good luck for me.
You don't have to keep your castor oil seeds for next year, Simbad. I can always give you more. All you have to do is ask :-) I mean it :o)

Aaaw what a shame Tommymoo, loosing all your seedlings, if you can remember what they were I can always save you more this year :-)
I'll remember your offer next year then if I don't manage to get any seed off mine, thankyou :-)
Well we went to Malvern for the weekend and Harlow Carr plant fair last week, its a nice day today so busy planting all my new purchases :-))

You were busy yesterday, gardening! Envy you!! Me, on the other hand, was busy listing postcards/greeting cards on ebay. It's really time-consuming and what you get (money-wise) is extremely little, considering the time and effort you put on. But it's kind of fun, I must say :0)
I'd love to have your seeds, "bridal wreath" and "fishing rod", if you could, this autumn/winter. Please keep some for me!!!!!!!! Thank you very much!!!!! By the way, I sowed some salvia patent seeds from you a few weeks ago and left the seedlings in France. I hope they will be okay, but who knows? I'll keep you posted :o)
