Shucks....I thought I had seeds for this but it's for "fortnight lily".
I will be happy with seeing your picture when in bloom. (for now)

Thank you Delonix!
I'm going to enjoy this next bit - I think that it would bomb in your climate.

Meanie:
It actually grows and blooms well here in winter. haha! LOL! :>)

So I'm still stuck with the Tricyrtis as being the only thing that I've been able to gloat about then.....

Meanie:
Pretty much! LOL!
Actually, you can grow a lot of the cool-flowering plants like: Cyclamens, Primroses much better than we can grow them in winter here. These plants tend to be expensive and look pretty dismal when we have winter heat waves.

But i don't like Primroses!!!

Meanie:
I like Primroses, however, they tend to look awful in my garden. Sometimes they look good mass-planted in commercial landscapes (only from mid-Dec - February).

Just another of my many plant prejudices Delonix!

Meanie:
I believe plant beauty is very subjective. :>)

Utterly sublime!

Thanks Lulu - it's not the most floriforous member of the Iris family, but a handful of blooms make it worth the effort (and "wrong" foliage).
