These are early...at present I have Midnight Revelry in flower, Jane. it's so dark purple it looks black when it is in bud!...I've developed an Iris habit! can't seem to get enough! LOL.

These are stunning! My daughter would love them, she's a real Iris person, loves them, especially purple ones. Her OH insists that the garden has some flowers other than purple so these would suit them both.

They have to be hardy to survive and thrive here! If your daughter plants them she will have no concerns about their survival...they also spread amazingly. the clump in the picture started out as three tiny rhizomes!...if she loves Iris I would suggest some siberians...they also come in yellow..believe the var. is called "Butter and Sugar"....Also if she has water...Iris pseudacorus is a very hardy iris and it's yellow too!...so she can have yellow and purple! Some of the siberians are blue...a true blue. I was checking out my reblooming iris...and the midnight revelry doesn't look very good. oh dear. don't want to lose it.
