another I histrioides cultivar.
Pigeon landed next to these and snapped one flower off grr.

despite the damage they do the wood pigeon is classed as being on the amber list of UK birds. Meaning they are in decline.
If you want to be really depressed look at the list of birds on the Red list ie in serious decline.

Sbg, I looked at the endangered UK birds list, it makes you weep to think so many are in decline. Just the other day I saw a Wagtail and commented to OH how rare that was these days Just so sad.
