sold as Lion King but that is a Dutch iris and an alternative id is Purple Hill. It is a big flower.

This isn't a Dutch one though, and I struggle to keep the Dutch ones going. strange isn't it. The Dutch Lion King is a different colour too.

well being blue /purple colour blind they just appear as different shades of the same colour. Strange as I really do like the 'colour'.

Ive masses of Blue Dutch Iris, they do well here. Not seen this colour before. Can't keep reticulata Iris going.
