This started off as just five corms a few years ago now.

Tell me your secret, do, do please. So envious. Looks quite woodsy soil under a pine?

Siris it is a bed with a few conifers in it and other semi shade loving perennials. This corner gets evening sun only in late spring as it gets shaded by the beech tree. that means it is more on the dry side. It gets lots of leaf litter from the beech tree and other trees in the boundaries. The conifer is one of the 'dwarf' ones. It will be interesting to see what happens in the future as there is now a house blocking the westerly sun.

Thank you for the decription of the growing conditions of your reticulate Iris. Im just not providing the ideal conditions for them to survive longterm here. Must try harder.
