A very unusual Iris - it doesn't stand stiffly, its stems 'droop' with several flowers at the tip of each stem.

well if it' s any consilation i re-did all my mums pots and baskets yesterday pm in the rain too! ;-) ....well drizzle really the heavy rain seems to have come during the night.

I tried to grow Iris last year from bulb but not one of them grew - what did I do wrong?
I live near Glasgow and our garden looks about a season behind yours.

Evy, which sort of Irises did you try?
As to the differences, I am in the mild SW of England, so there's bound to be temperature differences.

I think it was a 'bearded iris', can never remember names - I will have to start writing down the names of plants and take a photo so I remember what they are.
