Jasmine Buds under the Banana

I was pleased to see the jasmine taking off in it new position. It lost the three buds it had and is flushing back with many more.

It is, little bush. Doesn't vine at all. Its really been a joy. Nice scent and very happy in this pot with the banana. It has a little pool just below it for humidity. My worry is our buggy pests.

I thought I recognized it...it a very common garden shrub here. It's sold at all the nurseries here very inexpensively. This is anther one of my favorites because it reminds of Hawaii where it's called Pikake.
You do have to watch out for spider mites...they can get attacked in the Summer.

Thats what I was guessing. Scents will draw them like nothing. I like it enough to poke my head in pretty often for a good inspection. :-)
