DD - it only flowers on growth that is carried through the winter.

Andrew that is last years growth....we dont cut it back, we wait for the first frosts to do that, and we had a very mild winter, so it carried on growing!!

How old is your plant DD? Mine is 15 years old, and carried its first flowers this year - all 29 of them! I let two of them go to seed, but only about 20% of the pods had a seed in them.
