Persicaria 'Red Dragon' (Persicaria microcephala)

Moved late last year, as got so tall was flopping over other plants. Now it's in the corner between the garage and the back fence. About 2 ft tall at the moment.

I find I have to stake it to prevent it flopping over anything nearby

Thats useful to know about it flopping over I have one of those round metal plant supports going spare so it will be going in place today before it gets the chance ..

I know some people keep chopping theirs down throughout the season to keep it tidy.
