Hardy perennial for shade with lilac flowers. From seed this spring.

Apparently it seeds profusely, so needs the spent flowers cutting off to stop it becoming invasive.

It is in the ground now. I have a spare in case it is too dry under a Camellia!

It’s done really well from seed, Sue. Love the big leaves and the flowers are pretty too. Ideal for shade as you say.
