They're variegated, and I hope ths shrub is hardy...

Same here, mine is about 7-9 years old and comes through every year.

It was the easterly wind that 'did' for the other one. I've been told that the larger leaved ones are hardier - so I chose this one. I will fleece it if we do get frosts next winter.

This looks like ours, but I don't know its name, but, it has survived two very hard winters, but it is at least 7 years old.
