This is why many people in San Diego are on a plumeria craze. The flowers are beautiful with a terrific fragrance and they're drought tolerant.

Yes I can see why interesting that it has scent and you saying its a wax like flower I had a wax like flower plant that also had a scent one you could grow out doors as well as indoors it climbed .

I think you're talking about wax vine (Hoya carnosa). It grows on trees here. It's a common vine which has a lot of nectar, and attracts lots of ants. I don't have one...even though I love the fragrant flowers.
