Pulsatilla and Geums.....

Pulsatilla and Geums..... (Pulsatilla vulgaris Rode Klokke.)

As long as the drainage is good, they will be fine. This is a brilliant clump! Mine are still just babies, but I've had a few flowers so far this year. Having grown them from seed, it is extra satisfying. :)

Gorgeous, I remember my Dad collecting seed from mine many years ago and growing them, special aren't they.

Thank you ladies for your very kind comments, I think I have at long last got the hang of growing these plants, decided to put in lots of grit, which has helped enormously....they were in very heavy soil before and never did much, but since moving them they have flourished....

Much more advanced than mine, lots of greenery but no flowers yet - I will wait patiently and enjoy yours :)
