How strange Angela , I took a photo of one of these on holiday they were growing wild everywhere , I didn't know what they were called ~ thanks to you I can put a name to my photo now :o)) I'm presuming this is in your garden clever girl ..... do they stay outside in the winter ?

This one was left outside last winter and survived, we did cover the ground with a thick layer of mulch though Amy, they are very popular in France.

What else?
See who else is growing Ricinus communis (Castor oil plant).
See who else has plants in genus Ricinus.
This photo is of "Ricinus communis" in Dottydaisy2's garden
