aphid nursery in full swing there...., good to see them on other peoples roses aswell, i am even happier if i spot the odd blackspot on all those perfect GOY pictures as i have so much of it on mine ;-))

I do squish some with my fingers Resi, but generally I'm happy to leave them for the Blue Tits. I don't use any chemicals in my garden and just pick up and dispose of fallen leaves with blackspot. But that is easy for me because I have a small enclosed garden.

we dont get a lot of blue tits here and although there were masses of ladybirds in the spring, there seem to be very few around at the moment.
gardening chemicalfree is very satisfying but there will always be far too many weeds and bugs around which by now i have got quite used to and accept as part of the grand scheme ;~((
yellow fingers forever!!!
