Rosa 'Alibaba'

Rosa 'Alibaba' (Rosa)

This is the first flower on my new climbing rose, which I've planted by the front gate, along with a Clematis. The poor flower has got beaten up by the wind, but it's exactly the colour I wanted, and I love the shape of the bloom.

Thank you! Yes, I can stick my nose in it every time I walk out of the gate - and it does have a scent. :-)) It also has more buds....

Very nice Spriz, we'll be interested to see how it goes along over the next couple of years

I do hope it goes from strength to strength - the plan is to train it over the front wall! :-)

I have, too. I've got the group visit on Tuesday, and the tutor came this morning. I'm really busy getting things ready, of course.

I ordered 'Alibaba' from Cant's and it came really fast. :-)

They sent me a catalogue, and it was wonderful to browse through it. Very tempting! :-)

I know, I now get Claire Austin's, David Austin's,Cayeux, Fryers, Viv Marsh Alstroes, besides, the usual nurseries, T & M, Parkers, Dutch firms etc...its enough to send you wild with desire...its like a drug addiction lol! (not that I ever had that..cant afford it buying all these plants!)
