This is one of two free Roses sent through a calendar offer from Thompson and Morgan, they had no names, but I'm wondering if this one is Gertrude Jeckyll. It has a fabulous heady scent.

Yes I'm really pleased with it, it's one of those old fashioned type with very thorny stems though.

I'm not certain Janey, but I think it is a little pale and 'loose' for Gertrude. It's lovely though.

I dont think it is either, we grow GJ and it does not look like this one, beautiful whatever it is.
