Rose 'Masquerade' First flowers on balcony 17th June 2025 002 (Macro)

Thank, Shirley, it is a pretty rose & a very old variety too!

I once bought a climbing 'Masquerade' (back in 1980, I think), it died in one of those "once-in-a-lifetime" winters, I think that may have been the winter of '81-'82, not sure now! It flowered in the first year I planted it but it was the 2nd year when it died. ;(

Can almost smell the scent from here!

Then your nose is a million times more sensitive than mine - I can't smell anything even with mine stuck in the flower!!! :D :D :D
