this tree is at the bottom of my garden and it's full of catkins they light up when the sun shines on them.

that's right, only problem i have is my pond near it and the catkins bobbing around on the water Grrrr.. still can't have everything.. :-)

yes, but i get frogs and dragonflys that lay eggs plus waterskaters i worry they would be kept out, my girls and i love the wild life the pond brings to the garden.

That's a great wildlife tree Surreylad, for insects and birds. Then watching it all going on is great for us too! :-))
