Thanks to Amy! I've been praying this would bloom before it was taken by frost. Was just out taking this pic and it's getting sooo cold...brrrr...going to go back out and put a paper bag over it!

Ahh what a shame Lori , I suppose it had to happen :o( they might still survive we had some bad frosts last year and they still came up in the spring ...

It is not looking good at present but if it's hardy I'll dress it for winter like the larkspur and cross my cold fingers!

I'm so happy it has produced a flower for you Lori , we have had a couple of early frosts not much but it makes you aware that winter is on the way :o(
