I always smell the flowers on this shrub before I notice it has started to bloom.

I don't know why it has decided to open its flowers now as it's bitter out there. But it's absolutely smothered in bloom.

DD - both my sarcococcas have been pruned as necessary, immediately after flowering. I often take off complete branches and they never seem to mind.
