We had thought it was a Ribes Gee, but it's looking more like a spiraea here isn't it.

lol Gee, Karen's answered part of that! I can't remember other suggestions, but Ribes rings a bell.
I really must get in touch with a laocal gardening organisation to see if someone can identify it and the others - need to label them, and at the moment I'm up to "Shrub 14" with some more to go!

lol thanks karen! I just need to make sure i label each shrub's pics with the right number until they're named, or I'll end up thining Ribes is Cotoneaster!

ha, Amy, probably till I can get a gardener who knows what they're doing to take a look! lol I meant r', not impugning GoYers.
I can't remember which plants I numbered what - this one's fairly easy to pick out, but 3 + 4 are more problematical - I numbered the ones that seemed to be putting out buds before leaves, which aren't all in a neat row. Think I'll have to renumber in sequence and then see which match what I've already numbered! if that makes sense, I'm not sure :-}
