It looks like the tree lupin I used to have. The black stems are very attractive.

Its pretty and not as thuggish as the other thermopsis . I have seeds that I must set off or I will miss the opportunity to do them.

No, not at all invasive, Denise. I'm very fond of this plant - in fact I bought another one for the other end of the border! :-)
