Very nice, not seen this variety before :o)

They're hardy perennials, Ydd. They vanish in the winter, and reappear in the spring. Unfortunately, slugs and snails love them! :-(
Thanks, Plantoholic. One to look for?

I'm ashamed to say that I have bought one of mine into the conservatory - just until the flowers open though. It's a white one.

Thanks, all. Sbg - why didn't I see yours? Where were you hiding them?
Meanie, is that to get it to flower?

you did see the ones down the side of the conservatory beside that odd doroconium flower. Mine are un- named species ones.

Splendid....

This is a particularly bright one...I bet it stands out well. Mine is quite hard to see, even though it is near the front. Still, it's nice to have some plants that you can 'discover' as you walk around.

In a way, Karen, but they like shade, so you have to know where to look. :-)

True. You have a nice collection of these now B. They are lovely aren't they. Did you see Meanies blue one?
8 Oct, 2011
Nooo - I must look!

They are completely amazing! I want one :-)

Another one of mine missing this year :o(

Oh no, Amy! :-(
Troddles, I don't think it's a rare one, so keep looking. ;-)

Very striking.

Yes, you could say that! :-))

My (almost) white one has bloomed! I think that it was well worth "cheating" for.
13 Oct, 2011
That's good! I'll take a look.
