Hi all we sure hope that you all GOY’ers been well. We have been very busy lately with our gardening and inbetween this out shopping for plants in all the stores and garden centres (must be a bug lol )
To be quite truthful we did have some quotes varying between a couple of grand plus to under a grand and thats not for the whole garden to be as we want. So we had a little heart to heart one evening and between us we thought that rather than let someone else do the work and to sit outside in the summer months ahead and not really enjoying it we took it amongst ourselves from last thursday that we would put as much hard work and enthusiasm into our garden, be it even if we screwed things up and made mistakes along the way so be it lol…..
We both, I guess like so many members on here would like to sit outside and enjoy the fruits of our labour and with all the inspirations and helpful advice from our GOY freinds and other members with their pictures and profiles and messages we did just that.
A big THANK YOU to you all
It’s also Nico’s eldest sons 21st today sadly he will not be celebrating it as he has his university exams in May so he is revising. His son is at b’ham Uni studying bio chemistry and science and hopefully gradutates in May. Guess Nico and I will have a drink on him and wait till he graduates to have the mother of all party combining his 21st and his degree into one…..

Yes much better to do it yourself bit by bit. You can be proud of it then. No matter if you make mistakes - we learn from our mistakes. I've lost count of the ones I've made lol

Oh! yes so much better to potter around and learn as you go along. I just love to get out and plant, weed and just survey my plot and see what can go where etc. keep up the good work, it will never end but so fulfilling as each bed has things that you can eat or just admire.

Good for you!!!! Little bit today little bit tomorrow. You will reap the rewards of your labours... oh er that sounds a bit biblical lol Love what you've done so far. Pretty little rose, what's it called? I love the barrel planter, have seen a lot of them on here today, feel a bit left out. Might have to go and buy one ha ha
