RHS London Plant and Design Show

What a dreary, damp morning. I had just about resigned myself to serious clearning when I remembered reading, in the Sunday paper, about the above show. Any excuse to leave the dusters in the cupboard, so off I went.
Unfortunately it was only when I got to Earls Court that I realised I had left my camera at home!
It was a lovely show and made me realise what a lot of beautiful plants there are around at this time of year. Amazing collections of snowdrops, tiny iris and primulas. Lovely hellebors for sale and an entire stand with heucheras, which I’ve often admired but didn’t know anything about.
There were three front gardens, beautifully planted for winter, and some interesting balcony ideas. I loved the Urban recycler which promoted the themes of cycling and recycling waste. The containers were made from bicycle tyres collected from cycle repair shops across the capital.I’m looking in skips from now on.
I bought a Convolvulus Gneorum (just because it looked pretty). Couldn’t carry anything else.
So sorry there are no photographs but if anyone is near enough it’s well worth a visit. On tomorrow only.

I went there yesterday - what a pleasure for my eyes:) took some pictures - the only problem is I have to sit down, resize them (every single one have to make smaller) and put them together in a blog:) but before I'll do that have to do some work for my college:)

Shame about the pics Ginellie, but it sounds as if you had a good time anyway.
