Fabulous - you must be thrilled to bits!

Wonderful! My only attempt to grow them resulted in the slugs demolishing my young plant. These look great!

Beautiful colours ,Val..my favourites ,hence my avatar :o) I only have three, because of limited space..two are white, and a later one sown a couple of years ago is blue..from a mixed packet of seeds..it will be the first time the blue one has flowered this year,so can't wait for it to open,to see what shade it is.and I'm so looking forward to seeing it :o) I think all the rain has done them the world of good this year, such thirsty plants, aren't they?
yours are much further on than mine,as they are only just showing colour in the buds..

Thanks all for your nice comments.
Yes Sandra they're mine as well.I'm dead chuff with these, usually eaten before flowering, but not this year, I think you're right about the rain, never had such prolific flowers up till this year... it does have its advantages sometimes!

How I love Delphiniums! Mine grow with weak stalks the first year and since I thought they were not in the right place, I moved them the next year and they disappeared :(
Yours look lovely. The light blue one is beautiful!

Love delphiniums but so do the slugs in this neck of the woods.
However, I have grown hostas in a pot this year, with a double ring of copper tape round it, and not a single leaf nibbled so far. So what has worked for them may work for delphiniums, they will need a big pot no doubt, but worth a try!
