hi great ,i saw them in manchester £ shop today, and i got 2 packs of the strawbs last week sometimes you can pick up a good bargain at these shops ...

Many Thanks for this. I actually saw them just this afternoon in our local "Poundland" store. Have been much more impressed, however, by Lidl's really healthy-looking "Elsanta" strawb plants - 6 for £3.99). :-)

ooooh David may have to look in there hope they still have them at weekend thanx :o)

Thanks everyone! I'm off to Lidl! - ah just thought I have only 4 strawberry plants called Cambridge favourite not enough to fill the planter I bought; If I buy the Elsanta will they be alright with the others? I heard strawberries can change their taste if you mix the varieties- don't know if this is true
