A big thank you to all of you that have welcomed me to your forum.
The main thing I am enjoying is trying to grow different types of veg and rather than following instructions in a book I think trying to grow plants the way you want can be very rewarding. Don’t get me wrong there are lots of tips and hints you can obtain from books and the weekly and monthly mags.
For fathers day my daughters bought me a cloche type greenhouse and I am finding it very useful when growing certain plants that need some warmth to grow in this cold snap that we have been experiencing over the past month, mind you I didn’t realise the size of the cloche until I put it together its massive!! my wife has told me that it will be my new home if I don’t behave, I’m use to it after 30 years!!.
I will put some closer pictures of the cloche so that you can judge for yourself.
