What a scorcher!!!!!

I confess, I must hang my head in shame. Well it has been so nice today, too hot to pot on, far too nice to do “it”. So I didn’t do “it”, got the chair out instead making sure to position it facing away from the shed where the" you know what" is kept!

There I sat, toes (ankles really), in the grass, a brew, the paper and of course the cats! Did I feel guilty, not one bit – that is until now – well there’s always tomorrow – I can do “it” then :D Me, Miffy, Monty the prozac puss, Mavis the wannabe Persian and Maxi the eternal kitten, all blissfully enjoying the sunshine.

Despite the romping grass and the absence of any desire by me to do the lawn today, the garden looks ok. I have put some pics on which I hope you will like, Mr David Bailey aka him indoors took them for me. Naturally I barked instructions from my chair, to make sure he got what was required. I love a man who does (what I tell him). Between me and the cats we do a good job keeping him under control. Such a shame the same can’t be said of the lawn!

The sunshine has done wonders for the aches and pains. The ralgex and the WD40 can stay in the cupboard, that is until tomorrow when I lug that flippin mower up and down the garden!!! Bah humbug!
