It didn’t take long after the spring rains for us to begin seeing more flowers. Seemed everwhere I looked there was another one!

Wonderful blog healerwitch, such a variety of wildflowers. Is the photo no.5 (unknown flower) Larkspur (Delphinium) ? The flower of Hedge Bindweed is a real beauty isn't it, but you wouldn't want it in your garden. :-)

yes i think the lovely blue is a delphinium. if it is annual then it is called a larkspur.
gorgous plants. we also get the pink & white bindweed. it reminds me of a two tone Mr Whippy icecream.

Hywel...it is not really that way there in the desert of Colorado...In this blog is all the flowers I saw in an entire day of looking for them...they are usually well blended, and you do not notice many of them until you are just about on top of them!
