These are some of the Gladioli from the show – sorry I couldn’t photograph them all and that most of the names are missing – there were hundreds. Being the World Championship, the blooms were first class – some were stunning!
In the third photo down, both first and second in from the left, peachy/apricot & the other a wine shade, were for me, Pizzazz & Razzmatazz all rolled into one! The white in photo one with the blue &white rosette, was the winner of the best seedling class which was lovely. Hope you enjoy!

They're not my favourites either Hywel, but, when your confronted with a sight like above you have to give credit where it's due - they were tremendous! The differences in the the light levels above was when the sun came out then went back in again lol

Thanks for showing these, Helenium ... some gorgeous ones there ... another one has appeared in my garden ... very tall and a dark pink/red colour ... :o)

Glad you liked them Shirley. Those ones that keep appearing in your garden are a mystery.

Mystery solved today Helenium ... the Gladdies came from my Mums garden as she no longer wants anything too tall or that needs staking ... if only my memory would function better!

Oh well it was a good mystery while it lasted - you'll maybe find out their names one of these days! The memory can be a nuisance at times, especially when someone asks about a plant in the garden and the mind just goes blank!
