Chrysanths Anyone?

They are gorgeous, but never seem to look as good in my garden!

Louisa, I couldn't get mine to look like that either, these people are the experts, but I suppose he'd have given me some tips had I stood in the queue.

Motinot, I was going to buy those very ones, but there was a queue and the chap was speaking to everyone! I will just send for them - I especially liked the pink one.

They are Hywel - I was just in awe of the whole stand, my camera really doesn't capture the real colour and beauty.

They are really lovely! I can't growth Chrysanthemums as my wife doesn't like them. :-(( She is Spanish & when she was growing up in Spain people always bought large bunches of them to take to the cemeteries, (at that time they were one of the few flowers that could be bought fairly cheaply to take to the cemeteries in the autumn), so she is always reminded of that whenever she sees them & they make her feel sad! As many Dahlias also look very similar she doesn't like them either. She DOES like Dahlias that are single flowered or the Collar type but not the big doubles.

Hiya Balcony. The spider Chrysanths are my favs, but the large yellow one in these pics was the one I thought was stunning! I too, like Dahlias, the Bishop types, I think they're really nice.
