Snail swap

You’ve probably already heard of the ‘experiment’ but if you want to take part here’s the link to the BBC site http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/b00svnn9 I’ve always suspected that snails return when thrown over the hedge and now apparently they do. Before I had Chickens I used to throw them on the lane so they have a ‘sporting’ chance. The ‘experiment’ is done properly (as you would expect) and if enough people join in it will reveal some interesting discoveries.

Very interesting listening to this programme, which took me an age to click on to, having forgotten the procedure required ! Anyway, I shall partake of this experiment, with snails from both mine and Mums gardens.
I'm a little concerned that the University Professor from Exeter said he's in Cornwall, always thought Exeter was in Devon ! Lol !
