I've been empting my birdbath at night then putting hot water in it in a morning as it goes cold very quick for them to use.

Our suppliers have run out of bird food, maybe folk are 'stocking up as with their own food. Feeding the birds is so rewarding as even in this weather they sing to us as well as interesting to watch. I'm amazed how they manage to keep warm over night. We feed them breakfast, lunch and tea during this weather. I've noticed lots of birds that I don't normally see too. Lots of geese Lapwings, a Snipe or two and a bird the size of a thrush but with pointed wings that flies too fast for me me to get a look at.
