Ideas for window boxes

On our to do list for the garden .I am doing 3 window boxes,a small one, a medium one and a large one (window box that is) .Can anyone come up with some ideas in what i can plant in them for a colourful display.
Only while my hubby is in his woodworking mode i want him to make 2 more boxes for me (while the weather is fine).
At the moment my mind has gone blank in what flowers i could plant and will flower from June onwards.
(being stressed out at the moment is not helping me , hence why my mind has gone blank.)

Pelargoniums, petunias, surfinias, begonias, lobelia, bacopa, anagallis, the list goes on - try looking at the Dobie's and Mr Fothergill websites - they sell plug plants of lots of different summer-flowering plants suitable for window boxes. I'd also recommend a few foliage trailers such as Dichondra. They 'set' the flowers off well.
Have fun choosing!

Thanks Spritzhenry.
But i think i will keep to seeds .I had a very bad problem with plug plants a few years back from a certain major seed firm , dont worry it wasnt the 2 you mentioned.By the time the plug plants got to me they were dead . so it put me of slightly using them again. But i will definately try with some of the names you have suggested

Sorry - I meant that you could get ideas of what to grow from their huge number of different ones. The list I posted was just off the top of my head. I think you can buy seeds of all of the ones I mentioned. :-)
I reckon I can guess which company it was! I stopped using them several years ago after bad experiences. :-((
