Hijuju you are lucky to have so many new bird visitors. We put out lots of different food for the birds, including mealy worms which went in no time, so we replenished often. However we have been quite short of birds. The mealy worm was being scoffed by a huge Wood Pidgeon, who perched on the edge of the dish leaving no space for anyone else. I suppose he needs food too.
A few bluetits came for sunflower seeds mainly. Robin came for the bits of mealy worms the pidgeon had missed and that was it. Oh apart from Blackbird pecking up the dropped bits.

I had two bonny little birds yesterday but I could not identify them ,they may have been Greenfinches but they seemed to have yellow markings.

Its great to see more birds in your garden than you have had before, it makes you feel all warm inside an contented.
It seems you are doing a good job, as for Starlings they are like little Gannets
they will almost eat anything you put out, seems as if they are enjoying
your Fat Balls.
I have been giving my little family, plenty of Apples,Sultanas and Raisins
with their normal seeds and suet feeds, it all gets eaten, i think they
need extra in this type of weather we have been having.
Keep it up Hijuju i hope you get more little visitors coming in especially those
you have listed!!
