How come you were able to go seed hunting Jacque? Did you have your wellies on and your umbrella up? It's been tipping down here! I've just got back from a trip into N.Devon to my very favourite Garden Centre ( a treat from me to me for my birthday) and I got AB-SO-LUTE-LY soaked - in spite of their huge umbrellas they loan out! It was worth it, though. Bought some nice plants to fill the gaps and cheer the garden (and me) up with instant colour!

Happy birthday, Barbara.
Glad your birthday treat was fruitful, looking forward to seeing what found its way into your birthday bag :-)
Yesterday I got drenched when the heavens opened not long after I had ventured out to trim the hazel hedge, but today between showers I managed to give it a more normal look from the road side. When the sun shines properly I shall give it a decent trim and shred the pile of cuttings.
I haven't grown Nasturtiums for years, they are like a magnet for blackfly.

I usually just leave the Nast. seeds to fall on the ground and re-grow next year, but I think it would be a good idea to collect some . Then I can plant them where I want them instead of them coming up all over the place. Great blog Jacque :o)

Great blog Jacque.
If I had looked here first, I would have had an answer to my question on your picture. I quite like Nasturtiums, had never grown them before. But from your earlier pics mine just are not flowering well. I like the variegated ones, think I'll try them next year.
