Many thanks to all kind friends ,for your guidance,
tho’ none of you told me how much hard work is involved ,
I’ve turned a barren bit of ground into a flower bed
( and broke a pick axe in the process ) but what a feeling of accomplishment . I stop and watch the bees completing the job,and feel rewarded .
Thanks again, but I am already asking more questions for my next project .

That looks really nice! It's going to fill out beautifully. :-) I like the backdrop of the trees behind the trellis.

It's the fact that it's a challenge that makes it so much fun! Looks good!

That looks great, James. I bet you get a real buzz every time you look at it. That's what keeps us all going!

Very smart it looks as well James, I like the edging and you'll soon notice the plants filling out.
I think most of us have a few broken tools amongst our collections, I know I have though goodness knows why I don't have a clearout, its a case of not wanting to chuck away a faithful old friend..
Enjoy your garden, some days you wonder how you ever found the time to go to work.....
