Hello – I am posting a few pics of my favourite bits on a walk around the garden

Last of the poppies – they have had a good year – I have clipped back some of the poppy foliage around the garden – hoping for a few more buds later on – I have had a good show of poppies this year including pale pink and white – and the blue Himalayan poppy below a bit frail but managed to flower

This hosta pot was given to us by a neighbour moving house and she did not have room for the pot – this amazing flower is an allium (thankyou Brian ) I thought it may have been a hosta bloom – but I have looked it up in my RHS manual and I think it is called Allium Globemaster.

I bought this peoney from a plant fair – with no plant label – but I think it is really pretty – does anyone know its name?

In the greenhouse – Echinoceseus family I think – it flowers at night – so is very difficult to photograph in bloom – it is a white one and I have had it a number of years

Rebutia fiebrigil – this was a tiny plant when I bought it – with 2 or three blooms on it – from Shrewsbury Flower Show I think

White flamboyant begonias – sent to me by a member of the Begonia Society as cuttings – they are in their first year – the orange ones in the background are ones that I have managed to over winter – some I lost to the grub !!

A favourite in the rockery – I love this cheery plant – apparently according to the Garden News – the best way to propagate it is to plant the fluffy seed heads straight away I haven’t tried that – before I have tried to take cuttings and failed!
