Outstanding Thalictrum

I wrote a blog earlier this year, about a Thalictrum that I was recommending.
It recently flowered, and I managed to get a friend to take a photo.
It was particularly difficult as, although the “book” says that it only grows about 2 – 3ft, my one seemed to have swallowed too much feed, and grew to over nine foot!!!!!!!
If that wasn’t gargantuan enough, it grew a second stem to about 3 foot, which is still presently in flower.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the photo, and that it helps to brighten up your summer days.

Have you been feeding that with 'growmore'?! Tehee! Its really beautiful though, I have Thundercloud, it has a very fluffy flower, about 4ft tall, so I have a way to go yet to catch up with your beauty!

I certainly do feed it with grow more, as in cow doo doo!!!

What a lovely photo. Mine always grow to about 5-6 feet Jason, but never that tall! wonderful!

One of my favourite plants. I have bought 5 extra this year, hope they grow tall too!

You know, it occurs to me that in the sections above, as in Memebers/garden pictures/garden questions etc etc, wouldn't it be a good idea to have one that said, "Members most favourite plants"., and every member on here could have one chance to select their most favourite plant to be included, with a photo and description, in the list.
I'm sure I would choose this Thalictrum.
