Hi, went to the Black Country Metal Works today. I found a dragon for you lol.
Heard someone ask the price. It was only £68,000. I think it might be a bit big for your garden. Jen

Lol. He said he fancied a dragon for his garden. Some of the sculptures are amazing. Full sized African animals. All for sale.

I thought it would probably only the size that was the problem. :-)

Hi Peterahome, we really enjoyed it. Well laid out, very clean and enough there for a couple hour visit. What was a bonus for us is we could take the dogs. They ask you to keep dogs away from birds of pray, which they do do displays with and dogs not allowed in cafe but there is a very big covered area with sofas to sit with the dogs and have drinks and food. The staff are very helpful, hubby bought me a iron statue and they wrapped it up and carried to car. Loved the life size African animals out around a field. Will go again.

Seems to me a scupture like that could be made in some other medium - ? old oak floorboards that are thrown away ?

Lol, would hate to try polish the one in pic. Sure if you look hard enough on the net would probably find one made out of floor boards.

There is a lot of metal cutting and welding in that sculpture.
I think it would take a whole winter to make, as any mistakes would have to be corrected in process.
I think it would look better with low plants underneath, a more natural setting.
Hope Paul enjoys.
