Prize for weirdest litter in front garden?

Hi, being cooler today I thought would start day off with sweeping the front of my garden wall. Something caught my eye in amongst all the straw. It had a yellow tag on it. Looked closer and of all things it was a farm animal ear!!!! :-(. Remembered reading the blog on litter louts and was going to write a comment on that but couldn’t find it. Have phoned up the council and they are coming to pick it up to trace the animal and so the farmer. So is that the weirdest garden litter or not?

No, not really what I wanted to find right after my breakfast. Trading Standards, animal health picked it up this morning. Just glad I found it before the dogs or cat did.

Lol. I didn't know at 1st, realised what it was and I've always got dog poo bags in my packet so picked it up with one of those. Women who collected it said it was a cattle tag. We have alot of market towns around us so livestock trucks always going pass. How is paddy?

He seems OK in himself but still shaking a lot and not the strength in his legs he used to have but not been sick since putting him on boiled fish since Friday (although that brings other problems as he's now not going to the loo as he should.....you can't win)

Can the vet give you prebiotic powder for him? When we got shadow his breeder had been feeding him raw diet and cheap mix. We didn't want do that but 1st food we put him on after a while really upset him and the vet put him on these powders to help firm him up and they worked. Also had been given them for one of my old springers and again worked.

I found a mummified/dried newt by the pond wall today! I was so sad as I love newts.

Can understand that being upsetting. :-(

Good Grief! I've never found anything like that, and I live between two farms! How's the garden coming along Jen?

Most surprising thing we found at our last house was an unopened six pack.

Lol, maybe it was a house warming present. For all the things that I've complained about the previous owners here, they did leave a bottle of red wine and a card welcoming us to the area. Hubby is tea total so oh dear, I had to drink it :-)

Lol Karen, its a hard life. A lot of his customers bring him a bottle of something and it would be rude not to drink it. :-) remembered this morning that when I moved into a house in Romsey, Hampshire, the previous owners left a big box of Duplo for my daughter as their son had outgrown it. Thought that was so kind of them.
